The Owensboro Community Band in it's current organization has been making music in Owensboro, Kentucky since 2002.  It currently consists of 25-30 musicians from around the area.  The Band is quite active, providing musical entertainment for dozens of local events each year.  All members of the band are strictly volunteers who enjoy the experience of making music as an entertainment form for community members and especially for themselves.

The O.C. Band practices almost every Sunday afternoon from 2:30 - 4:00 PM, usually at the Lewis Lane Baptist Church, (see map).  If practice will be at another location or time, it will be posted on the "Announcements" page.
